2002-2002 Sea Ray® 230 Bowrider Model Specific Details: The Cockpit Cover goes OVER the windshield and snaps at the base of the windshield in front. Sea Rays with 12-digit Hull Identification Number (HIN) beginning with SERA were made in Arizona for which we do NOT have OEM canvas patterns (this boat was built by Sea Ray in AZ and TN): our Tennessee Sea Ray® Bow Covers, Cockpit Covers and Carpet Runners we offer will fit Arizona boats, however the original Arizona top frame(s) were made by someone else, so our Tennessee Bimini, Sunshade and Camper replacement canvas will NOT fit Arizona frames, AND our Visor, Side or Aft Curtains will NOT zip properly to original Arizona top canvas, BUT ALL Arizona canvas AND frames can typically be replaced as a set, however we do NOT guarantee fit. Sea Ray® originally offered the 2002-2002 230 Bowrider in Sunbrella® (the Bimini Top was originally SeaMark® vinyl-lined Sunbrella®, but is now Sunbrella® to avoid mold issues) fabric.
Product Details: Zips onto OEM zippered Bimini-Top (Not included) and Side-Curtains (Not included). Curtain (typically angled to back of cockpit or transom) snaps to boat with included SS Snap-Stud-Screws. The boat manufacturer and RNR-Marine™ do not recommend operating the boat with the aft-curtain in place, due to dangerous fuel and exhaust fumes.
Sea Ray® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: Zippers on Sea Ray® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch) up to 35 foot, #10 over 35 foot (5 teeth/inch). Cockpit Covers for open bridge boats (Sundancer, SunDeck, SunSport, SLX, Bowrider, Express Cruiser, Weekender) prior to 2008 cover the windshield, 2008 and newer attach to Top of windshield. Embroidered Sea Ray® logo on SOME (when offered by Sea Ray) Boot Covers was Tan (gold) until 2011, then Silver 2012 and newer. Sea Ray® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Sea Ray® boats over 2 years old. Verify that your old and mating canvas has GLBT on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND factory #8 zippers (6 teeth/inch), NOT #10 (5 teeth/inch) which are After-Market zippers.
The Bimini Aft-Curtain is NOT needed IF the boat has a Camper-Top and Camper-Aft-Curtain at the back.
