Pair Factory Bimini SIDE CURTAINS (Port and Starboard sides) with Eisenglass windows zips to sides of OEM Bimini-Top (Not included, sold separately), OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in Sunbrella® marine fabric, produced with the same high quality, original 2005-2005 digitized patterns approved by Aquasport® for the 215 Explorer walk around cuddy:
  • Notes:
    • 2005-2005 Aquasport® 215 Explorer Model Specific Details: Aluminum Bimini top frame. Aquasport® originally offered the 2005-2005 215 Explorer in Charcoal Tweed, Mediterranean Blue Tweed or Linen Tweed Sunbrella® fabric.
    • Product Details: The pair of Bimini-Side-Curtains are clear Eisenglass (clear vinyl) windows (port and starboard side included) that zip between the sides of the Bimini-Top and the sides of the windshield or hull. The Side-Curtains either snap onto or slide into tracks on the back edges of the windshield (and hull in many cases), The Side-Curtains have Zippers on the top (for the Bimini), front (to connect to the front Connector windshield) and back edge (to the Arch, Bimini-Aft-Curtain or Camper-Side-Curtains if so equipped) to form part of a complete eisenglass enclosure. Bimini-Top, front Connector and other Curtains are NOT included.
    • Aquasport® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSA laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas part, and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas specific to your boat is if you can provide the part number on that tag, so only parts that have the black tag can be quoted and ordered. Zippers on OEM Aquasport® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Aquasport® Bimini Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Aquasport® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags, where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Aquasport® Hull Identification NUmber(HIN) = AQAsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.
    • Factory OEM canvas: Ameritex® tags p/n [104xxxccc]
    • TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
      1. White Ameritex® tags p/n [104xxxccc] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
      2. The Ameritex®  logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
      3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

  • Size/Fit:
    1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the 2005 Aquasport® 215 Explorer walk around cuddy.
    2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Ameritex® tags p/n [104xxxccc] ("ccc" is the color code).
    3. ONLY zips to Factory OEM Bimini-Top and Connector.
    4. Factory OEM #8 Zippers Ameritex Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
    5. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included (IF used) but NOT installed in the canvas (to allow for a perfect fit), so a Snap-Tool may be required.
    6. Check the 2005-2005 Aquasport® 215 Explorer Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    7. Does NOT fit Aquasport® 215 Explorer prior to 2005.
    8. Does NOT fit Aquasport® 215 Explorer after 2005.
    9. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2005-2005 Aquasport® 215 Explorer.

  • Options:
  • Guarantee: We guarantee our factory original (OEM) canvas, frames and covers:
    • Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
    • Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,
    • Will fit the specified boat, as long as the existing and mating canvas and frames are factory original: having part numbers, snaps and zipper size as specified in the Size/Fit and Model-Specific-Information on this page,
    • Will perform as described when installed properly.
    You can count on all of the above or we will repair or replace the item in question.

    • Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (AQAsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
    • The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Bimini Side-Curtains (Factory OEM),
    • Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.
