Notes:
- 2007-2012 Chaparral® 280 Signature Radar Arch Model Specific Details: The forward Bimini Top has Keder Welt which slides into a Track on the Front of Arch (no Connection Zipper Strip). The aft Camper Top zips to an Arch Connection Strip which has Keder Welt that slides into Track on Back of Arch. The front Connector has 3 panels that zip together. Chaparral® originally offered the 2007-2012 280 Signature Radar Arch in Black, Mediterranean Blue Tweed, Marine Blue (2008), Linen Tweed (Chaparral called this Beige), Taupe (2008+, no longer available, replaced by similar Linen), Burgundy (2006-2007) or Dubonnet Tweed (2008) Sunbrella® with SeaMark® (vinyl lined, waterproof Sunbrella) tops fabric.
- Product Details: Replaces worn, damaged or old Bimini-Top-Canvas. Canvas only with Zippers for Front Connector, Side-Curtains (and Aft-Drop-Curtain if so equipped). No Frame, Connector, Curtains, Boot or Valance included - sold separately. Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) canvas made-to-order.
- Chaparral® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: A laser-engraved, Black Rubber Tag and a White Canvas Tag are sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), so we need the P/N (Part Number) and DT date code from the Black Tag (or sticker). Zippers on OEM Chaparral® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Boot-Covers have Black or White embroidered Chaparral® logo. Most (NOT All) Chaparral® Bimini and Camper Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Chaparral® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Chaparral® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Chaparral® HIN = FGBsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.

  3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

Size/Fit:
1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,2012} Chaparral® 280 Signature Radar Arch: 280 Signature With canvas connected To the factory installed Radar Arch.
2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Chaparral® / Ameritex® tags p/n [1072xxccc] ("ccc" is the color code).
3. Pockets (some are zippered) to fit on Factory OEM Bimini-Top Frame.
4. Zips to front Connector and Side-Curtains (NOT included).
5. Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
6. Typically zips to factory Radar-Arch, Arch-Connection (zipper strip) or front of Camper-Top (no tincluded) at Rear (or may be stand-alone).
7. Check the 2007-2012 Chaparral® 280 Signature Radar Arch Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
8. Does NOT fit Chaparral® 280 Signature Radar Arch prior to 2007.
9. Does NOT fit Chaparral® 280 Signature Radar Arch after 2012.
10. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2007-2012 Chaparral® 280 Signature Radar Arch.

- Will perform as described when installed properly.

Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (FGBsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Bimini Top Canvas, with Zippers, SeaMark® fabric (Factory OEM),
Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.
