Factory Bimini FRAME (NO Canvas), OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) , produced with the same high quality, original 2004-2005 digitized patterns approved by Aquasport® for the 225 Explorer walk around cuddy:
  • Notes:
    • 2004-2005 Aquasport® 225 Explorer Model Specific Details: We no longer have the Taylor-Made® canvas or covers for this boat. The Hard Top Front Connector and Side Curtains have U-Shaped Zippered windows in them. Aquasport® originally offered the 2004-2005 225 Explorer in Charcoal Tweed Sunbrella® fabric.
    • Product Details: Framework only. Order canvas and mounting hardware separately. A Bimini-Top stands above the cockpit (not connected directly to the windshield frame), while a Convertible-Top connects to the top of the windshield.
    • Aquasport® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSA laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas part, and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas specific to your boat is if you can provide the part number on that tag, so only parts that have the black tag can be quoted and ordered. Zippers on OEM Aquasport® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Aquasport® Bimini Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Aquasport® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags, where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Aquasport® Hull Identification NUmber(HIN) = AQAsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.
    • Factory OEM canvas: Taylor-Made® tags p/n [61980007xxx]
    • TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
      1. White Taylor-Made® tags p/n [61980007xxx] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
      2. The Taylor-Made®  logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
      3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

  • Size/Fit:
    1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2004,2005} Aquasport® 225 Explorer walk around cuddy.
    2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Taylor-Made® tags p/n [61980007xxx] ("cc" is the color code).
    3. WE MUST HAVE THE P/N FROM THE STICKER ON YOUR OLD FRAME TO PROCEED.
    4. Only fits factory OEM Bimini-Top Canvas.
    5. Factory OEM #8 Zippers Ameritex Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
    6. Ships in a 96inch x 5inch x 69inch Box weighing approximately 25pounds.
    7. Check the 2004-2005 Aquasport® 225 Explorer Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    8. Does NOT fit Aquasport® 225 Explorer prior to 2004.
    9. Does NOT fit Aquasport® 225 Explorer after 2005.
    10. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2004-2005 Aquasport® 225 Explorer.

    • Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
    • Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,

    • Will perform as described when installed properly.
