Factory Bow Spray Hood CANVAS only (no Frame, Mounting Hardware or Boot), OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in Sunbrella® marine fabric, produced with the same high quality, original 2001-2006 digitized patterns approved by Edgewater® for the 225CC center console with factory installed T-Top:
  • Notes: Edgewater logo
    • 2001-2006 Edgewater® 225CC Model Specific Details: We do not have the T-Top replacement canvas patterns for this boat. Edgewater® originally offered the 2001-2006 225CC in Black, Toast, Captain Navy or Cadet Grey Sunbrella® fabric.
    • Product Details: Also called "Bow Dodger" or "Storm Dodger. Covers Bow of Center-Console boat. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps, which are included but not installed in the canvas. Includes Male Snap-Stud-Screws if originally provided on design for this boat.
    • Edgewater® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSFor Ameritex® (Not Great Lakes) canvas, covers & frames: A laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas, cover or frame specific to your boat is if you provide the part number (P/N) on that tag: We will require the P/N (112350xxx and Greater) and DT date code from this Black Tag (or sticker) and WE WILL MAKE THIS EXACT PART NUMBER, so there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. Zippers on OEM Edgewater® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Edgewater® Bimini Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Edgewater® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Edgewater® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® tags p/n [nnnxxxccc] where [nnn] identifies the boat (an internal code), [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code OR Great Lakes® tags yyEQxxxxx-xcc. Edgewater® Hull Identification Number (HIN) = DMAsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.
    • Factory OEM canvas: Ameritex® tags p/n [101xxxccc] or [102xxxccc]
    • TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
      1. White Ameritex® tags p/n [101xxxccc] or [102xxxccc] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
      2. The Ameritex®  logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
      3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

  • Size/Fit:
    1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the 2001-2006 Edgewater® 225CC center console with factory installed T-Top.
    2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Ameritex® tags p/n [101xxxccc] or [102xxxccc] ("ccc" is the color code).
    3. Fits Factory OEM Bow-Spray-Hood Frame (NOT included).
    4. Verify Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags on existing Bow-Spray-Hood) perfectly.
    5. Will NOT fit other frames.
    6. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included but NOT installed in the canvas (to allow for a perfect fit), so a Snap-Tool Will be required.
    7. Check the 2001-2006 Edgewater® 225CC Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    8. Does NOT fit Edgewater® 225CC prior to 2001.
    9. Does NOT fit Edgewater® 225CC after 2006.
    10. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2001-2006 Edgewater® 225CC.

  • Options:
  • Guarantee: We guarantee our factory original (OEM) canvas, frames and covers:
    • Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
    • Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,
    • Will fit the specified boat, as long as the existing and mating canvas and frames are factory original: having part numbers, snaps and zipper size as specified in the Size/Fit and Model-Specific-Information on this page,
    • Will perform as described when installed properly.
    You can count on all of the above or we will repair or replace the item in question.

    • Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (DMAsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
    • The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Bow Spray Hood Canvas (Factory OEM),
    • Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.
