- 1996-1997 Sea Ray® 290 Sundancer Model Specific Details: An angled Bimini Aft Curtain OR a 'stand-up' Camper Top with Side and Aft Curtains are offered at the rear. The Cockpit Cover goes OVER the windshield and snaps at the base of the windshield in front. Sea Ray® originally offered the 1996-1997 290 Sundancer in Royal Blue Tweed, Teal Tweed and Linen Tweed Sunbrella® (the Tops and Valances were originally SeaMark® vinyl-lined Sunbrella®, but are now Sunbrella® to avoid mold issues) fabric.
- Product Details: Snaps tightly over the Cockpit area and has Velcro-Lined Cutouts to go around the Bimini-Top AND Camper-Top frames (not included). Comes with one or two (depending on size) Adjustable Aluminum Support Pole(s) with Snap or Grommet (hole) through reinforced area in center of Cockpit-Cover. Cockpit-Cover has 30 to 80 standard 3/8" snaps, depending on the boat. Includes Male Snap-Stud-Screws. Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) cover made-to-order.
- Sea Ray® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: Zippers on Sea Ray® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch) up to 35 foot, #10 over 35 foot (5 teeth/inch). Cockpit Covers for open bridge boats (Sundancer, SunDeck, SunSport, SLX, Bowrider, Express Cruiser, Weekender) prior to 2008 cover the windshield, 2008 and newer attach to Top of windshield. Embroidered Sea Ray® logo on SOME (when offered by Sea Ray) Boot Covers was Tan (gold) until 2011, then Silver 2012 and newer. Sea Ray® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Sea Ray® boats over 2 years old. 1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {1996,1997} Sea Ray® 290 Sundancer: 290DA Sundancer with factory installed, SWEPT BACK Radar Arch (NOT the 290SDA with forward facing Arch).
2. Only fits Factory-Original Windshield, Arch/Tower (if so equipped), Bimini-Top and Camper-Top setups.
3. Snaps included but NOT installed in canvas, so a Snap Installation Tool is required.
4. Cut-outs for Bimini-Top-Frame and Camper-Top-Frame are made per Factory-Original specifications.
5. Sea Ray® is the ONLY boat mfgr that offers a choice in Cockpit-Cover Cutouts.
6. Ships in a 42inch x 25inch x 7inch Box weighing approximately 38pounds.
