Factory AFT DROP CURTAIN to floor with Eisenglass window(s) and Zipper Access for boat with Factory Hard-Top, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in Sunbrella® marine fabric, produced with the same high quality, original 2004-2005 digitized patterns approved by Aquasport® for the 275 Explorer walk around cuddy with factory installed Hard-Top:
  • Notes:
    • 2004-2005 Aquasport® 275 Explorer Model Specific Details: For boats built in March 2004 and later (HIN ending in C404 and later, Taylor Made® made the canvas prior to that and it is no longer available). Aquasport® originally offered the 2004-2005 275 Explorer in Charcoal Tweed, Persian Tweed, Mediterranean Blue Tweed and Linen Tweed Sunbrella® fabric.
    • Product Details: Mounts under Rear of Hard-Top with Plastic or Aluminum Tracks (included as needed) and SS Snap-Stud-Screws. Extends vertically down to floor. The Aft-Curtain has 25 to 60 standard 3/8" snaps or bungee cords, depending on the boat. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included (IF used) but not installed in the canvas, for perfect alignment. Let us know if you need Clip-On-Windshield-Frame-Snaps or slides into a track at the top of the windshield.
    • Aquasport® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSA laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas part, and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas specific to your boat is if you can provide the part number on that tag, so only parts that have the black tag can be quoted and ordered. Zippers on OEM Aquasport® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Aquasport® Bimini Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Aquasport® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags, where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Aquasport® Hull Identification NUmber(HIN) = AQAsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.
    • Factory OEM canvas: Ameritex® tags p/n [103xxxccc]
    • TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
      1. White Ameritex® tags p/n [103xxxccc] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
      2. The Ameritex®  logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
      3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

  • Size/Fit:
    1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2004,2005} Aquasport® 275 Explorer walk around cuddy with factory installed Hard-Top.
    2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Ameritex® tags p/n [103xxxccc] ("ccc" is the color code).
    3. Fits Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) Hard-Top and Side-Curtains perfectly.
    4. Factory OEM #8 Zippers Ameritex Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
    5. Will NOT fit after-market top or canvas.
    6. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included (IF used) but NOT installed in the canvas (to allow for a perfect fit), so a Snap-Tool may be required.
    7. Check the 2004-2005 Aquasport® 275 Explorer Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    8. Does NOT fit Aquasport® 275 Explorer prior to 2004.
    9. Does NOT fit Aquasport® 275 Explorer after 2005.
    10. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2004-2005 Aquasport® 275 Explorer.

    • Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
    • Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,
    • Will fit the specified boat, as long as the existing and mating canvas and frames are factory original: having part numbers, snaps and zipper size as specified in the Size/Fit and Model-Specific-Information on this page,
    • Will perform as described when installed properly.

  • 12-digit HIN: (required)
    • Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (AQAsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
    • The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Hard Top Aft-Drop-Curtain (Factory OEM),
    • Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.
