    • 2007-2015 Wellcraft® Coastal 290 Model Specific Details: Ameritex® Canvas Feb 2007 forward boat build date (HIN ending in B707 and later). The Side-Curtains have U-shaped zippered windows on each side. The curtains have Keder Welt at the top which slides directly into the tracks on the Hard Top. Wellcraft® originally offered the 2007-2015 Coastal 290 in Charcoal Tweed, Mediterranean Blue Tweed or Linen Tweed (no Black) Sunbrella® fabric.
    • Product Details: Mounts under Rear of Hard-Top with Plastic or Aluminum Tracks (included as needed) and SS Snap-Stud-Screws. Extends vertically down to floor. The Aft-Curtain has 25 to 60 standard 3/8" snaps or bungee cords, depending on the boat. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included (IF used) but not installed in the canvas, for perfect alignment. Let us know if you need Clip-On-Windshield-Frame-Snaps or slides into a track at the top of the windshield.
    • Wellcraft® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSA laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas, cover or frame specific to your boat is if you provide the part number (P/N) on that tag: We will require the P/N (112350xxx and Greater) and DT date code from this Black Tag (or sticker) and WE WILL MAKE THIS EXACT PART NUMBER, so there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. Zippers on OEM Wellcraft® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Wellcraft® Bimini Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Wellcraft® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Wellcraft® boats over 2 years old. Wellcraft® OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® tags p/n [nnnxxxccc] OR Taylor-Made® tags p/n [nnnccccxxx], where [nnnn] identifies the boat (an internal code), [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Wellcraft® Hull Identification Number (HIN) = WELpssssmbyy (1981-2010) or PWEpssssmbyy (2010-current) , where [yy] = model year.
    • Factory OEM canvas: Ameritex® tags p/n [107xxxccc], [108xxxccc] or [109xxxccc]
    • TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
      1. White Ameritex® tags p/n [107xxxccc], [108xxxccc] or [109xxxccc] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
      2. The Ameritex®  logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
      3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

  • Size/Fit:
    1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014,2015} Wellcraft® Coastal 290: 290 Coastal walk around cuddy with factory installed Hard Top.
    2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Ameritex® tags p/n [107xxxccc], [108xxxccc] or [109xxxccc] ("ccc" is the color code).
    3. Fits Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) Hard-Top and Side-Curtains perfectly.
    4. Factory OEM #8 Zippers Ameritex Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
    5. Will NOT fit after-market top or canvas.
    6. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included (IF used) but NOT installed in the canvas (to allow for a perfect fit), so a Snap-Tool may be required.
    7. Check the 2007-2015 Wellcraft® Coastal 290 Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    8. Does NOT fit Wellcraft® Coastal 290 prior to 2007.
    9. Does NOT fit Wellcraft® Coastal 290 after 2015.
    10. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2007-2015 Wellcraft® Coastal 290.

    • Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,

    • Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (WELsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
    • The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Hard Top Aft-Drop-Curtain (Factory OEM),
