    • 2005-2007 Wellcraft® Coastal 270 Model Specific Details: For 270 Coastal boats built before January 2007 (before HIN ending in A707 = L607 and earlier). Connector and Side-Curtains have Keder Welt sewn to their top that slides directly into the tracks on the Hard-Top. The Side Curtains have U-shaped zippered windows. Wellcraft® originally offered the 2005-2007 Coastal 270 in Black, Charcoal Tweed, Mediterranean Blue Tweed, Linen Tweed or Jockey Red Sunbrella® fabric.
    • Product Details: Full set of flexible glass enclosure Curtains and Connections fit between factory Hard-Top and Windshield or Console and floor:
      1. Front Connector (also called "Windshield", "Spray-Shield" or "Visor"), typically 3 panels, but 1 or 2 on some boats, Not MAY or MAY NOT have zippered window(s) (check Model-Specific details), Connector uses SS Snap-Stud-Screws, Clip-On-Windshield-Frame-Snaps or Slides into a track at the top of the windshield,
      2. Pair of Side Curtains,
      3. Aft Curtain.
    • Wellcraft® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSA laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas, cover or frame specific to your boat is if you provide the part number (P/N) on that tag: We will require the P/N (112350xxx and Greater) and DT date code from this Black Tag (or sticker) and WE WILL MAKE THIS EXACT PART NUMBER, so there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. Zippers on OEM Wellcraft® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Wellcraft® Bimini Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Wellcraft® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Wellcraft® boats over 2 years old. Wellcraft® OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® tags p/n [nnnxxxccc] OR Taylor-Made® tags p/n [nnnccccxxx], where [nnnn] identifies the boat (an internal code), [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Wellcraft® Hull Identification Number (HIN) = WELpssssmbyy (1981-2010) or PWEpssssmbyy (2010-current) , where [yy] = model year.
    • Factory OEM canvas: Ameritex® tags p/n [10xxxxccc]
    • TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
      1. White Ameritex® tags p/n [10xxxxccc] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
      2. The Ameritex®  logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
      3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

  • Size/Fit:
    1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2005,2006,2007} Wellcraft® Coastal 270: 270 Coastal walk around cuddy with factory installed Hard Top.
    2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Ameritex® tags p/n [10xxxxccc] ("ccc" is the color code).
    3. Fits Factory installed Original-Equipment (OEM) Hard-Top perfectly.
    4. Factory OEM #8 Zippers Ameritex Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
    5. Will NOT fit after-market top or canvas.
    6. Mounts to front of Hard-Top with Keder Welt which slides into Plastic or Aluminum Tracks.
    7. Attaches to windshield with Clip-On-Windshield-Frame-Snaps, Stainless steel Snap-Stud-Screws or Keder Welt that slides into a track on the top of the windshield.
    8. Side and Aft Curtains snap at bottom.
    9. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included (IF used) but NOT installed in the canvas (to allow for a perfect fit), so a Snap-Tool may be required.
    10. Check the 2005-2007 Wellcraft® Coastal 270 Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    11. Does NOT fit Wellcraft® Coastal 270 prior to 2005.
    12. Does NOT fit Wellcraft® Coastal 270 after 2007.
    13. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2005-2007 Wellcraft® Coastal 270.

    • Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
    • Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,

    • Will perform as described when installed properly.

    • Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (WELsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
    • The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Hard Top Connector Side and Aft-Curtains SET (Factory OEM),
    • Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.
