2006-2008 Glastron® GXL 205 Tower Low Profile Windshield Model Specific Details: The Tower Top is a 2-bow frame and the canvas top attaches at the back to the tower with 18 snaps. Glastron® originally offered the 2006-2008 GXL 205 Tower Low Profile Windshield in Black, Royal Blue Tweed and Dubonnet Tweed Sunbrella® fabric.
Product Details: Frame for FACTORY-INSTALLED Wakeboard Tower mounted Top (does NOT fit After-Market Towers). WE MUST HAVE THE P/N FROM THE STICKER ON YOUR OLD FRAME TO PROCEED.
Glastron® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes:A laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas, cover or frame specific to your boat is if you provide the part number (P/N) on that tag. We will require the P/N (112350xxx and Greater) and DT date code fromthe tag (or sticker). WE WILL MAKE THIS EXACT PART NUMBER, so there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. Zippers on OEM Glastron® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Glastron® Bimini Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Glastron® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). Glastron® began making ther own canvas in-house in 2016, so we do not have anything after 2015. Glastron® OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags, where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Glastron® Hull Identification Number (HIN) = GLAsssssmbyy (1972-2010) or PGLsssssmbyy (2010-current) , where [yy] = model year.
Guarantee: We guarantee our factory original (OEM) canvas, frames and covers:
Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,
Will fit the specified boat, as long as the existing and mating canvas and frames are factory original: having part numbers, snaps and zipper size as specified in the Size/Fit and Model-Specific-Information on this page,
Will perform as described when installed properly.
You can count on all of the above or we will repair or replace the item in question.
