Formula® originally offered the 1999-2005 260 Sun Sport No Arch in Black, Cadet Grey, Mediterranean Blue Tweed, Forest Green, Jockey Red, Taupe (no longer available, Formula has replaced this with similar TOAST TWEED) or Garnet (no longer available) Sunbrella® with SeaMark® vinyl lined waterproof Sunbrella® tops or Pearlescent (white) Aqualon® fabric. Part Numbers: 1999-2005 Formula® 260 Sun Sport No Arch factory OEM canvas, covers & frames have Ameritex® tags p/n [101xxxccc - S-TB 260SS].
Product Details: Zips onto back of OEM zippered Bimini-Top (Not included) and typically goes back at an angle to the Transom area. Curtain snaps to boat with Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps (which are included but not installed in the canvas) or Bunjis in some cases. Let us know if you need SS Snap-Stud-Screws to screw into the boat. The boat manufacturer and RNR-Marine™ do not recommend operating the boat with the aft-curtain in place, due to dangerous fuel and exhaust fumes.
Formula® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes:A laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made® which have P/Ns starting with 4 or 6) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas, cover or frame specific to your boat is if you provide the part number (P/N) on that tag: We will require the P/N (1xxxxxxxx , NO 4xxxxxx or 6xxxxx), DT date code AND A PHOTO of this Ameritex® Black Tag (or sticker) and WE WILL MAKE THIS EXACT PART NUMBER, so there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES.Formula® Canvas Zipper Size:
#8 (6 teeth/inch) used up to early 2005 and from 2009 forward,
#10 (5 teeth/inch) used on most (not all) boats from the end of 2005 through the 2008 model year
(it is necessary to check your zipper size when ordering 2005-1008 canvas: simply measure the number of teeth over 2 inches and divide by 2 for accuracy)
. Boot Covers MAY have the Formula® logo embroidered in Silver, Gold, Black or White (Formula specified depending on fabric color). All Formula® frame bows and hardware are Type 316L Stainless Steel. All Formula® Tops are sewn with Gore(®) Tenara(®) Thread to avoid rotting. Most (NOT All) Formula® Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Formula® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). Formula® made their factory OEM Bow, Cockpit and Mooring Covers in-house themselves, so we do NOT have them. We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Formula® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: [xxxxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Formula® Hull Identication Number (HIN) scheme is TNRsssssmbyy, where [yy] is the model year.

Verify AMERITEX or TAYLOR-MADE tags.
Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included but NOT installed in the canvas (to allow for a perfect fit), so a Snap-Tool Will be required.
Guarantee: We guarantee our factory original (OEM) canvas, frames and covers:
Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,
Will fit the specified boat, as long as the existing and mating canvas and frames are factory original: having part numbers, snaps and zipper size as specified in the Size/Fit and Model-Specific-Information on this page,
Will perform as described when installed properly.
You can count on all of the above or we will repair or replace the item in question.
