Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement canvas / covers:
Taylor-Made® tags (we no longer reproduce Taylor-Made canvas or covers) p/n [2682ccccxxx].
Originally offered in Black, Royal Blue Tweed, Marine Blue, Forest Green, Beige, Taupe (1998, no longer available, replaced by similar Linen) or Linen Tweed (Chaparral called this Beige) Sunbrella® with SeaMark® (vinyl lined, waterproof Sunbrella) tops.
We no longer produce TAYLOR-MADE® canvas with part numbers beginning with 2, 4, 5 or 6.
We DO make Ameritex® canvas with part numbers beginning with 1 from 2010 forward.
We also do offer many non-OEM boat covers, many custom covers, and can COPY your existing Bow, Cockpit or Boat Covers
We no longer have the Taylor-Made® canvas or covers for this boat.
Part number required from OLD Cover on Cockpit Cover orders (there are 3 revisions of the Cockpit Cover with no notes as to what was changed).
Stainless steel frames.
The Camper Sides and Aft Curtains have zippers and screen.
The Zippers on Factory OEM Chaparral® canvas are size #8 (8mm high, 6 teeth/inch).
Most (NOT All) Boot-Covers have Black or White embroidered Chaparral® logo.
Most (NOT All) Chaparral® Bimini and Camper Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation.
Chaparral® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps).
We can only sell factory OEM canvas and covers direct for Chaparral® boats over 2 years old.
OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code.
Chaparral® HIN = FGBsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.
All OEM canvas and covers listed below are made using the original, digitized patterns approved by Chaparral®.
Per manufacturing agreement with Chaparral®, OEM canvas for this Chaparral 240 Signature is ONLY offered in Chaparral's factory-original colors and fabric(s) (listed above), designs (digitized patterns below) and glass type (further below) , see our SeaMark® Color Swatch Chart and Sunbrella® Color Swatch Chart to view colors.
