Formula® made changes to their canvas in 2006. To be assured that you get the correct canvas, we suggest that you contact Formula® direct, with your hull number (HIN), to get the appropriate part numbers for the 2006 (and some other transition years) year boat.
Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) Canvas for Formula® boats: RNR-Marine™ is a leading dealer for Ameritex® Fabrics, who patterned and manufactured Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) canvas for Formula® 240, 241, 260, 27, 270, 271, 280, 290, 292, 31, 310, 315, 316ATS, 330, 34, 340, 350, 353, 37, 370, 372, 382 Fastech, 40, 400, 401, 410, 45, 45 Coupe, 47, 48 & 480 SS, PC, RA, SSS and Fastech boats from 1999 to current.
We produce new canvas
(diagram explaining what
each piece of canvas is called)
in the Pacific Blue, Jockey Red, Cadet Grey, Linen, Green Tweed, Mediterranean Blue Tweed (053), Taupe (no longer available) and Persian Tweed (no longer available). Many Front Connectors, Arch-Connections, Side-Curtains and Boots were available only in Silver Sunbrella or White Aqualon per Formula specs. Sunbrella(r) (or White Aqualon or Mustang) with SeaMark vinyl-lined, waterproof Sunbrella(r) tops
fabric colors originally offered by Formula® only.
Note: 
A laser-engraved, Black Rubber Tag and a White Canvas Tag are sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), so we need the P/N (Part Number) and DT date code from the Black Tag (or sticker), or the legible Part Numbers from the White Tag if you have them OR we can lookup 2010+ Formula® P/Ns in our system (just enter P/N 123456789 if you don't have any Part Numbers and make up a DT code between 2011 and 2019). Formula® Canvas Zipper Size:
(it is necessary to check your zipper size when ordering 2005-1008 canvas: simply measure the number of teeth over 2 inches and divide by 2 for accuracy). Boot Covers MAY have the Formula® logo embroidered in Silver, Gold, Black or White (Formula specified depending on fabric color). All Formula® frame bows and hardware are Type 316L Stainless Steel. All Formula® Tops are sewn with Gore(®) Tenara(®) Thread to avoid rotting. Most (NOT All) Formula® Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Formula® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). Formula® made their factory OEM Bow, Cockpit and Mooring Covers in-house themselves, so we do NOT have them. We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Formula® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: [xxxxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Formula® Hull Identication Number (HIN) scheme is TNRsssssmbyy, where [yy] is the model year.
Windows are made with 30ga Eisenglass flat (not rolled) clear vinyl window material.

In some cases (if the boat mfgr is out of business for example)
you can upgrade the windows to
Strataglass
coated clear vinyl
(approx. 50-60 percent more cost),
however the standard Eisenglass (clear vinyl) will last
for many years with
proper care, cleaning and storage.
We utilize our
library of 1,000's of patterns to produce
new, "made-to-order" Factory Original canvas
for your Formula® boat.
This is the same canvas originally offered
from the Formula® Factory
and sold by your local Formula® dealer
(local dealers may only go back 5 years or so however,
and charge local sales tax, which we do not charge
except in SC and FL).
No other canvas manufacturer has these patterns
or the ability to produce
the exact factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement canvas and covers that were offered
from the Formula® Factory
when your boat was new.

Covers for Formula® boats : We offer
Custom After-Market Covers for Formula® boats : We also offer after-market Carver® Custom-Fit™ Boat Covers (from $239), Styled-To-Fit™Boat Covers (from $229) and in Sunbrella® marine fabric (the best quality, breathable fabric for covers) as well as some excellent high-quality, but less expensive materials, that are designed as a precise fit using measurements taken from your particular model of outboard motor.
For Center Console boats, we also offer Universal (Not OEM) Center Console (No T-Top) Covers, Leaning Post Seat Covers and Reversible (Flip-Flop) Seat Covers.
A popular solution for boats with T-Tops are our T-Top Console-Storage-Curtains, which completely cover the front cooler seat, entire console and helm seats or leaning post (starting at $484.00 , SALE PRICE: $454.96 (Winter Sale)). This is a nice alternative to the factory OEM console-cover and OEM leaning-post or OEM pedestal-seat-cover, typically costing less than the OEM console-cover alone.
Since Formula® did not offer a factory mooring cover for boats with a T-Top, we offer custom-fit, durable TTopCover® Under T-Top Boat-Covers and Carver® Over T-Top Boat-Covers for Formula® \ boats with the Factory OEM T-Top or Hard-Top. 9.25 ounce (per square yard) 100% Solution Dyed Acrylic marine top fabric
is a tough, water repellent (Fluorocarbon coated), UV resistant,
color-fast (the acrylic fiber is dyed before the fabric is woven),
breathable (will help keep things dry) woven fabric,

is a slick, semi-shiny, durable, non-breathable, 60% higher cost fabric,

Although Stamoid® is made in a
variety of colors, we typically offer only white (Ivory for Grady White®),
as used on many yachts.

Recacril® 9 oz./sq.yd. Solution Dyed Acrylic marine fabric
manufactured by Recasens® USA.

Recacril® is a 100% solution dyed, 9 ounce (per square yard) acrylic fabric
for marine and outdoor use.
It has a Flurocarbon/Resin coating to repel water and offer excellent UV resistance
and is woven in
over 50 solid colors
and over 80 stripes,
although only a limited selection of solid colors are offered for our marine canvas.
In some cases, Recacril® is no longer offered for factory OEM replacement canvas, curtains or covers,
and a similar (not exact shade in some cases) color Sunbrella® fabric is used as a replacement.

Water repellect Top Gun™ fabric is characterized by

tear and abrasion resistance,

breathes and the fabric is woven with solution dyed acrylic fibers,
which last longer than polyester and retain colors extremely well.

Strataglass® is available in 20-mil (0.020"), 30-mil (aka 30ga = 0.030" thick),
40-mil (0.040") or 60-mil (0.060" = ~1/16") thickness.
The 40-mil is available in a clear, light smoke or dark smoke tint,
which is a special order (adds another 10% to the cost and 2 more weeks).
We recommend 30-mil for fishing boats, since the thicker vinyl is hard to roll up offshore.
Yachts may use 40-mil or 60-mil (even more costly) when the vinyl is seldom (if ever) rolled.
Strataglass® claims a
5 year life expectancy (care & exposure dependent),
but notes that many yacht owners see 10 or more years of use with proper care.
